                           Eclipsed moon with   TMB 130 mm @ F6 and Canon 10D at ISO 400  3 seconds

             Below are two animations showing the progress of the eclipse across the still moon  and the  motion of the moon at totality across the star field.   Here in Wis.  we didn't see complete totality, and one can see the last remaining semi-bright area move from the upper right quadrant to the lower right.  You can also click on the link to the right of the above image to see an actual stretched image with the moon blocked to show the actual stars....The star field above was  a seperate image  with the eclipsed moon layered onto it....
